Staying Mentally Healthy Throughout the College Admissions Process and Transition to College Life” was an event that I spearheaded through the Teen Advisory Council of the UCLA Friends of the Semel Institute. This virtual event, which I came up with the idea for, came up with questions for, and did the introduction and moderated the q&a, was one attended by students, parents, college counselors, admissions officers, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and more from all around the country and world who cared enough to be a part of the discussion on how the college admissions process is affecting teen mental health.
